Patriot Elementary is one of eight sites in the more than 110 year-old Rosedale Union School District. Our K-6 school opened its doors in August of 2002, and currently has a population of over 900 students. Patriot is staffed by several team members and a community committed to the premise of "Children First!". Patriot resides in the midst of an involved and active community, which is culturally, ethnically and socio-economically diverse. We have quickly moved from a small rural atmosphere into a suburban setting due to growth and development in our area.

From the beginning, Patriot's sole purpose has been to ensure that all students are successful. This child-centered philosophy was first evident when the children selected the school colors and mascot and at the inception of the Parent-Teacher Club (PTC). The PTC began planning their traditions with the continual focus of being supportive, not intrusive. 

There is a unique and inviting feeling the moment you step foot on our campus. There is a sense of caring and nurturing which is evident by the warm reception and the children's smiles. As a school, we are dedicated to educating children with not only the academics, but with life-long values. It is a school where going above and beyond for children is our standard.
