Today six of our Centennial CUBs took their projects and completed at the Kern County Science Fair. We are so proud of all of their hard work this year! Congratulations to Wyatt who placed 3rd place, Crusoe who placed 2nd, and Luke who earned 1st place! Way to go CUBS!!

Putting on a school event takes a tremendous effort. We are very lucky at Centennial to have volunteers willing to make sure our CUBS have a blast. We loved having Coach Dean and the BC football players come and warm up the runners! Thank you to the many who donated time and items to make our Jog-A-Thon so successful!

Jog-A-Thon 2024 was amazing!! Our CUBS had the best time today running to raise money for our PTC. The music and cheering kept those feet going. What a fantastic event!

Congratulations to our 3rd grade Battle of the Books Team Members! Today they battled it out with third graders from all across the county at the Kern County Museum. These kids have been reading from a special list of books and meeting monthly to talk about them. A big thank you to all of the parents who were able to come today and help out!

Centennial Students were very lucky this morning to welcome in readers from all across our community. Superintendents, firefighters, CALM zoo keepers, retired teachers, and many more joined our students in celebrating the love of reading!

Today we kicked off our Jog-A-Thon week by dressing up as our favorite book characters. This was a perfect way to also celebrate our community readers joining our campus in celebrating reading!

Yesterday was a beautiful day for a field trip! Our TK classes walked over to our nextdoor fire station and had the best time. Students learned all about firefighters and even got to check out the firehose!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY ~ Our Centennial Cubs had a ton of fun celebrating today by playing games, passing out treats, and enjoying their classmates.

Today Centennial Cubs got a special visit from the firefighters of Station 67.

Day 2 of our Rosedale Union School District Oral Language Festival! We had one serious solo and one humorous duo perform this morning. They were amazing! Congratulations to Gwen, Claire, and Emily who will be representing our school at the Regional Oral Language Festival in March.

Day 1 of Rosedale's District Oral Language Festival was a success for our Centennial representatives. After memorizing a piece of literature, these students performed in front of a packed house. We were so proud of our CUBS competing today.
Congratulations to Lily, Emmry, and Jane who will be representing our district at the Regional OLF in March.

OH NO! Agent 99 came and stole Zero the Hero! Our kindergartners had to work hard to solve the mystery so they could celebrate the 100th day of school. Students used magnifying glasses to solve math problems, analyzed finger prints, and cracked the code to find the hero.

Our 100th day of school got off to a foggy start, but Centennial CUBS were ready to celebrate! We are 100 days smarter!!
